4th of July

My parents came over for the 4th of July. We had a very non-traditional meal of grilled chicken and risotto. Jason is the best chef I know (and he cleans up the kitchen after cooking)! While waiting for the firework displays we played upstairs on the Wii. Maddi practiced her walking and dancing while her Papa and Dad-O played her some music on Rockband :) My dad had the best time playing all of the games (from bowling to cow racing to rockband). We saw some spectacular fireworks while sitting in the formal dining room. We never had to leave the a/c :) It was a great time! Maybe next year, we will have a boat and will be able to be on the water for the firework display . . . here is to hoping ;)
