We went outside yesterday and discovered a sign announcing the arrival of our princess. My doctor's name is Royal Benson and one of the things they do for their patients is placing a sign in the yard when the baby is born announcing the royal birth of a prince or princess. Jason and I took pictures by the sign to scrapbook later for Maddison.
We went and had the test to look at Maddison's jaundice levels. We did not hear back from the doctor, so they told us that is good news. If the levels were high, they would have called us to the hospital pretty quickly. Please continue to pray that her levels will be managable.
Maddison is sleeping and eating really well. We are spending some time outside each day to help with her jaundice. Jason is a wonderful daddy. He is up with me every three hours. He feeds her while I pump and then whoever finishes first gets to change the diaper and dress her again. The funniest thing is we have to undress her down to her diaper to wake her up enough to eat each time. Her Nonna said it won't be so funny when Maddison is 4 years old and we are ready for dinner and she comes running out in her panties because that is the routine we are following right now :)
